Tensio is Norway's second largest electricity grid company. We have regional responsibility for the electricity supply to Trøndelag. The supply area has a population of around 500,000 inhabitants and covers an area the size of the whole of Denmark. The supply area consists of 29,000 km of line/cable, 100 transformer stations and 13,000 network stations. All of this must work together at all times for the power supply to function normally. Tensio is a group with Tensio TS (Trøndelag south) and Tensio TN (Trøndelag north) as subsidiaries. Tensio TN and Tensio TS correspond to what was previously known as NTE Nett and TrønderEnergi Nett respectively.
