Nyköping Sparbank was established in 1832. The bank has operations in five municipalities: Flen, Katrineholm, Nyköping, Oxelösund and Vingåker. In February 2004, we changed our name to Sörmlands Sparbank. At the 2021 annual general meeting, the savings bank's principals voted unanimously to transform the savings bank into a savings bank joint-stock company with a savings bank foundation as owner. In 2022, Sörmlands Sparbank implemented the conversion to Sörmlands Sparbank AB publ.
