About the company:

Since 2004, momox has sold used books, CDs, DVDs, games and other media items. In 2014, the product range was expanded to include used clothing (momox fashion, formerly ubup). This entailed taking on a sector which is struggling to contain its negative impact on the climate, the environment and people despite earnest efforts to promote sustainability. The manufacture of products such as clothing is extremely resource-intensive, yet many people are increasingly treating such goods as disposable. The fashion industry as a whole ranks among the largest sources of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, which plays a significant role in the climate crisis. However, this liability also represents an opportunity. If the sustainability of the relevant sectors can be increased, this will benefit the environment to a considerable extent.
