Brage Finans was founded on 2 June 2010 by 10 savings banks, which were also involved in the establishment of our sister companies Frende Forsikring and Norne Securities. Since our first full year of operation, we have had continuous growth. The growth in portfolio, products, offices, owners and employees reflects a steady, high supply of new customers, while existing customers use our products more and more often. Brage Finans has a strong awareness of sustainability and the climate. As one of the first in our industry, we were certified as an environmental lighthouse in 2019, according to the new set of criteria for banking and finance. In early 2020, we launched our green framework, with the best rating. We work actively with climate and environmental issues and stimulate our customers to make green choices. For example, we reward customers who buy environmentally friendly cars by offering them a green car loan. These obtain loans with lower interest rates and lower fees. Brage Finans is a financing group that offers leasing and sales mortgage loans for the corporate and private market. Via the subsidiary Factoring Finans, factoring, invoice purchase and credit insurance are offered. Distribution of the group's products takes place through owner banks, via dealers of capital goods and through our own sales force.
